6th grade:
O.A.: Answer the four statements V (true) or F (false), based on Version 1 on p.23
1. El chico es pobre.
2. Los garajes son muy pequeños.
3. El chico no sale en sus carros sino que en su bicicleta.
4. Al final, el chico está feliz porque ahora tiene un control remoto.
New Vocabulary (last 3 of Episodio 8):
el domingo: Sunday
se prenden: they turn (themselves) on
se apagan: they turn (themselves) off
We did a wordsearch competition, reviewing all Episodio 8 vocabulary.

O.A.: Translate from English to Spanish.
1. Mrs. Dillard blows a big bubble from gum, rises, and floats in the air for 5 days.
2. The family of mice are afraid of the city and so they return to the country.
3. The door of the house is not open and so she searches for a window.
New Vocabulary:
la ciudad: the city
hace: s/he does
la fábrica: the factory
We made up a story, using student actors & props.

O.A.: I passed back your brainstorming webs for "Las Obritas"
Individually, you worked on a verb activity, writing high frequency verbs in different forms.
