6th grade:
O.A.: Grab your book & take out the last story I handed out.

We read Episodio #3 together with the illustrations.
In the "writing" section of your binder, you wrote your own version of Episosio #3.
In your textbooks, we completed exercises 14, 15, 16, & 18.

No homework.

7th & 8th grade:
O.A.: Translate the following sentences from English to Spanish.
1. Where is the wolf?
2. Who takes care of the family?
3. Is the mom bored?
4. Why doesn't the shepherd yell?

We started Ch. 2 today :) Your new vocabulary structures are:
se esconde: s/he hides
el cuervo: the crow
tiene hambre: s/he is hungry

We created a story as a class, and then read version 1 of the mini-story I handed out.

You will have a T/F quiz over version 1 next class!

6th grade:
O.A.: Create 4 sentences using the vocabulary words from our last class.
We learned the last 3 vocab structures for Episodio 3 today:
-busca: s/he searches for
-la cola: the tail
-el miércoles: Wednesday
We read the mini-lectura that goes with today's words, and then with a partner (or group of three) you created an original story using all the words from Episodio 3.

You learned about "La Familia Latina" today- the Latin family. You drew your own Spanish family tree, and then we watched two videos about latin families.

Then we learned 3 new vocab structures:
pasa la aspiradora: s/he vacuums
qué lío: what a mess
enchufa: s/he plugs in

I passed out a new story, we read it, and then you answered the following questions about the story:
1. Por qué no está contento Germán?
2. Cuántas horas pasa la aspiradora Germán?
3. Cuando Germán no está contento con el gato, qué hace?
4. Cuando Germán duerme, qué hace el gato?

6th grade:

Students write all vocabulary structures from Episodios 1 and 2 on the board with their definitions.
We composed a story together as a class; you wrote it in the writing section of your binder as I typed it on the projector.
NO homework

7th & 8th grade:
No O.A.
With a partner, you completed the Ch.1 Complete Vocabulary Test. I graded them, and you kept them in your binder to use as a study guide.
As a class, we wrote a story to accompany the pictures on pgs. 6 & 7 of your textbook. This writing went in the writing section of your binder; I'll grade it next time I do a binder check.
NO homework

Today was a BLUE day, and you had a substitute teacher. Here's what you did...

SIXTH GRADE-
O.A.: study for Episodio #2 Vocab Test. Take test.
With a partner, complete Exercise 10 on pg.7 of your textbook. Individually, on pg.8 of your textbook complete Exercise 11.
You played "matamosca" for the remainder of class

SEVENTH & EIGHT GRADE-
O.A.: students write ALL Ch.1 vocabulary structures on the board with their definitions.
With partners, complete the Ch.1 Complete Vocabulary Test, turn it in to your class drawer. You then wrote a story based on the 16 pictures on pgs. 6 & 7 of your textbook. You also turned this in to your class drawer.
